Newt Gingrich reappeared as a force and voice during last nights Republican debate in South Carolina.
Newt went on the attack and was the crowd favorite most of the night. Gingrich even went toe to toe with Juan Williams of Fox News on the subject of race and earned himself a standing ovation from the SC crowd.
Mitt Romney stood tall against the usual attacks against his record and his role at Bain Capitol.
These attacks did not do much to hurt Romney as he had a answer and anecdote for each of the assertions the likes of Gingrich and Perry threw his way.
Romney handled these attacks well but faltered when he had to think on his feet on a few occasions, specifically when Rick Santorum challenged him on subject of felons being able to vote again after they complete their sentences and probation.
