Who do you think “won” the Vice Presidential debate?
Vice Presidential debates rarely draw as much attention as their presidential counterparts, yet they remain pivotal moments in election cycles. This year’s debate was no exception, with both candidates aiming to reassure voters, promote their running mates, and land key talking points on policy. The stakes were particularly high given the ongoing political climate.
I did a live, in-real-time, analysis of the debate as it happened last night. AND my digital clone also analyzed the candidates. Who won? Watch the video here to find out. (Apologies for the audio quality! I forgot to turn on my primary mic!!! My secondary mic was less than ideal)
Key Issues and Policy Differences
This debate tackled some of the most pressing concerns of the nation, from the economy and healthcare to foreign policy and climate change. Both candidates presented sharply contrasting views, especially in their approach to handling the economic recovery post-pandemic.
The Democratic VP nominee emphasized a recovery plan that would focus on reducing unemployment, supporting small businesses, and investing in green energy. On the other hand, the Republican VP nominee reiterated the importance of deregulation and tax cuts, aiming to ensure businesses can recover without excessive government intervention.
Healthcare was another area of contention. The Democratic VP nominee argued in favor of expanding access to affordable healthcare, reinforcing a platform that aims to build on the Affordable Care Act. The Republican VP candidate defended their administration’s stance, highlighting efforts to dismantle Obamacare while vowing to protect those with pre-existing conditions.
Foreign policy brought out stark differences, with one side promoting diplomacy and global alliances, while the other focused on military strength and economic sanctions.
Communication Styles and Debate Tactics
While content is king, delivery can make or break a debate performance. The candidates’ communication styles couldn’t have been more different. The Democratic VP nominee came across as composed, focusing on clear and concise messaging. They rarely wavered from key talking points and worked to maintain a calm demeanor, appealing to voters seeking stability and a return to normalcy.
Conversely, the Republican candidate adopted a more aggressive stance, frequently interrupting and steering the conversation back to their administration’s record. This assertiveness was both a strength and a potential liability, as it sometimes came off as overbearing. Nevertheless, their strong command of their accomplishments was hard to overlook.
The body language of both candidates played an essential role. The Democratic nominee maintained eye contact and appeared calm under pressure. Meanwhile, their Republican counterpart often gestured vigorously, which energized supporters but may have alienated undecided voters looking for a steady hand.
Polls and Audience Reaction
Immediate post-debate polls offered mixed results. Pundits were quick to point out that no major gaffes were made, yet both candidates seemed to have stuck with their base. While some media outlets declared the Democratic nominee the winner due to their measured tone, others favored the Republican nominee’s ability to defend their administration’s policies effectively.
Social media buzz highlighted key moments, from sharp one-liners to heated exchanges. Memes and viral clips are now essential in gauging the broader public sentiment, and in this debate, both candidates had their viral moments.
Historical Comparison
To understand the significance of this debate, it’s worth comparing it to past vice-presidential debates. In 2008, for instance, the debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin was a critical moment in framing the public perception of Palin as a viable VP. Similarly, this debate will be remembered for how each candidate’s performance will shape public opinion of their leadership qualities.
Media Analysis: The Role of Digital Technology
In today’s world, media training and communication technology play a crucial role in public perception. As an expert in communication skills, it’s clear that both candidates utilized extensive media training to hone their debate strategies. Digital tools, including real-time AI analysis, helped audiences break down key moments and identify which candidate resonated most with the public.
At Media Training Worldwide, we specialize in helping leaders and influencers communicate their messages clearly and persuasively, just as these candidates demonstrated. Our digital clone technology, for instance, is paving the way for more dynamic and personalized media coaching experiences. Imagine if candidates could practice their debate skills with a digital clone—rehearsing responses, refining body language, and enhancing delivery before stepping onto the stage.
Conclusion: Who Won?
Ultimately, the winner of this debate depends on your perspective. For voters seeking calm leadership and detailed policy plans, the Democratic nominee emerged as the victor. However, for those who valued strong defenses of the current administration’s record, the Republican nominee came out on top.
In the end, debates are not just about who wins or loses in the moment; they are about shaping the broader narrative of the election. Both candidates performed well enough to maintain their respective bases, but whether they managed to sway undecided voters remains to be seen.

I’m pleased to announce that my new Interactive Video clone now has more than 2000 users!
So many people like you have expressed interest to me on how to make their own digital clone that I wrote a book “Building An Interactive Video Clone.”
As a thank you for being one of my early adopters, I will send a digital copy of my book at no charge to you. Just go to my clone here and say “TJ. please send me your book” and I will do so. (The book is also available as a paperback, Kindle and soon as an audiobook on Amazon here) And yes, my clone wrote most of the book, along with help from my TJGPT on OpenAI.
Yesterday was my clone’s 5-month birthday, but it seems more like 5 years, as so much has happened in the world of Interactive digital cloning.
For the last year or so, I’ve spent a lot of time looking for an online course that could teach me the simplest, fastest way to make my own interactive AI video clone. Sadly, I never found one. So that’s why I decided to just make one. For people who want more hand holding and more of my time, I’ve made an advanced course here. And I have a super-inexpensive version on other platforms here.
If it’s not obvious yet, it should be. I am all-in on the technology of Interactive video cloning! This is what I eat, sleep and think about.
That’s why I have created CloneCraft Consulting, as a means of helping other organizations devise a clone strategy that meets their needs. Additionally, I want non-profits and other communities to benefit from this technology, which is why I’ve created The Clone Catalyst Initiative.
Additionally, I have started the process of investing in other new tech companies that focus on AI cloning technology through CloneCast Ventures.
FYI, my clone continues to grow in range and reach. In addition to accessing it on TJWalker.AI, you can now call my clone anytime at +1.415.549.0172. You can text it on Whatsapp or chat with it on Telegram (Username tjwalkerai-bot)
Some of you may have tried out my clone before it was fluent in 30+ languages. If you haven’t tied out this feature, I urge you to do so. If you call (not the video call) my clone by clicking here you will then see a drop down menu on the top right with dozens of language options. Click on one you speak and try talking to me (I mean my clone) in that language. Please let me know what you think.
Meanwhile, I’ve been putting my clone to work (It never gets tired) My clone just finished hosting its first online course Constructive Debates in the Workplace. The course isn’t finished yet, but it is live and taught exclusively by my clone. If you want a free pass to check out the course, please click here.
And in other news, I am rebranding my TJ Walker Success Podcast as the Digital Doppelganger Show The new focus of the show will be to interview experts AND their digital clones on how they use their clones to communicate with their communities more effectively. If you would like to be a guest on the show, please write to Lourdes at Producer@tjwalker.com.
Speaking of media, you may have noticed that when most media outlets talk about digital clones it is in the negative context of scams and fraud. Indeed this is a huge problem. I want to build a network of ethical clone developers who can create a safe environment for people to use clones. So I have created the Digital Clone Ethics Alliance. This is still in an embryonic state, but please take a look and let me know what you think of this as a starting point for a more ethical future for clones.
Finally, I find it really fun to talk with other people who are excited about digital clones. That’s why I started the AI Video Clone Builders Group on Facebook, which is free for anyone to join.
Cordially,
TJ Walker
PS in the coming weeks, the TJWalkerAI app will be released and lots more.
