HOW TO LOOK SUPREMELY CONFIDENT AND RELAXED WHEN YOU END YOUR PRESENTATION | PUBLIC SPEAKING | PRESENTATION SKILLS

So often i have seen it happen that people give great presentations and then end them inappropriately and abruptly. This leaves a rather bad taste in the mouth of the people watching. Do you tend to struggle with ending your presentations as well? Here is how you can look relaxed when you end your speech or presentation.

Ending your presentation abruptly and suddenly is akin to a car that is driving smoothly on a driveway and then suddenly runs out of gas and stops it he middle of the road- not good. You do not want to be in such a position. My recommendation is to keep it straightforward and simple. You do not have to end it with a tear jerking story that brings everyone to tears. What you do need to do is to sum up your points, take a step and smile, and give the audience a bit of time to process.

Do not say or do anything that makes it seem like you are in a rush. Just stop. Give a little bit of a smile for a couple of seconds, and offer the audience to throw some questions at you or give them the freedom to leave. But do not act as if you want to get away from there- act like there is no place in the world you would rather be at.
