Client Testimonial:

“I recently had an occasion to address a TV crew concerning the sale of our business being announced. I prepared my 'three key points' and kept stating them repeatedly. I did several seconds of air time but was edited to only one key point. When the interview was completed the news reporter commented 'you've have done this before'. Actually I had not, but the media training I received in Chicago really worked! Thanks for giving me the 'how to' and confidence.”

IQommunicate™ Analysis:
Additionally, if the trainee sends in a videotape of a recent media appearance prior to the training session, it will be critiqued using our 25-point quantitative analysis on a 1-10 scale, plus qualitative analysis.

Conference Call Prep:
Trainee, group representative, Public Relations Manager and/or other key people from the organization or group will consult with the trainer via a conference call to assist with the training content and advise the trainer of the unique needs and goals of the group or organization. This call will also be used to go over any last minute details and answer any questions.

"Its called going the extra mile"

Meet the Trainer:
The evening before the training, if possible, the trainer will meet with key people from the group or organization for drinks or coffee to go over last minute details for the training as well as gather additional input for the training session.

Interactive and Customized Course:

The coach/trainer will provide techniques, tips and guidelines on each aspect of effective media communication. The trainees will then engage in simulated media interviews, while being videotaped. Next, the trainer will provide a definitive critique of each trainee’s performance with immediate feedback and performance enhancement instructions. The trainees will be interviewed and videotaped numerous times throughout the day. This is the process where the new techniques are ingrained into each participant's skill set. It is imperative that each participant receives as much videotaping and critique time as possible to effectively learn and exercise the techniques. We make the session what you want the session to be. Therefore, whatever your goals and focus are, we will meet them.

We customize all our private training sessions to meet the needs of each participant and the company they represent. As you can see, we offer a great deal of pre and post-training materials and services as part of the training. We have found that this package is most effective and provides long-term results. Part of the pre-training process is the completion of Needs Assessment Forms. The trainee(s) will complete the individual Needs Assessment Form and, if appropriate, a group coordinator or Public Relations Manager will complete the Organizational Needs Assessment form. We also conduct a conference call to go over specific goals and focus. The combination of these results allows us to tailor the session to the unique needs of the company and each participant.

Post-Training Continuing Education and Support:

We provide on-going support services on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, as you prefer. Imagine that you get a daylong, personlized golf lesson from Tiger Woods. That would be great, right? But what would happen if you didn't golf for 6 months or receive any more golf lessons. Your golf game would be right back where it was the day before your lesson with Tiger. That's the problem with most conventional media trainings; they end at 5:00 p.m.. The trainee leaves with a temporary "high" feeling. But then, the very next day, the skills learned in the training begin to fade. A few months later, the trainee is no better off than the day before the training.

TJ Walker and Media Training Worldwide have created a personized, on-going, multimedia training program that is tailored to your exeact short-term and long-term needs and wants. After the training session you will get to create your own personal follow-up training programming with your instructor.:
