We teach you how to speak effectively to live audiences and to the news media. Whether you are giving a presentation or holding a press conference during a crisis, we help you look your best, create memorable stories and sound bites and deliver winning messages.
At Media Training Worldwide we teach lawyers how to speak effectively to the news media.
Specifically, we teach attorneys how to do the following:
1. How to look comfortable, confident, and relaxed any time you're in front of a TV camera. Whether you are on the courthouse steps, or on the set at CNN, you need to look in charge at all times.
2. Frame a three-part, 30-second message. How do you take a complex legal issue and boil it down to just 30 seconds?
3. Answering questions from reporters. Answering questions from reporters is not like answering questions in a court of law. You must answer questions, but it requires different tactics.
4. How to speak in sound bites. It's not enough to stay on message, you must learn how to package each message with sound bites in order to guarantee getting the exact quotes you want in the final story.
If you are the star of the courtroom, it's often because you've had a good legal education and years of experience and training on courtroom performance. But if you haven't been trained specifically on how to speak to the news media, you aren't going to be naturally good at it. Speaking to the media with ease and control is a learned skill.
At Media Training Worldwide we can teach you how to be just as successful in the court of public opinion as you are in the court of law.
